..Xerra removes section of reality, he emphasizes minor things and marginal characters, so he tries to bring up a section of the world which is constantly disattended….Xerra paints shadows of an impressive painted memory….his own works continue time after time and they join, they associate with other works…like fragments, like sentence quotations inside a new context….but also with fragments from different time.
The quotation exalts the length of time and convince you that work lives in a ambiguous space, between present and past, in a place in time undefined.
Thus Xerra’s work is just in appearance an event in front of us, but it is a non event, a no fact that happens out of time
This is the reason why Xerra sublimates characters, sublimates relationships, sublimates materials, building his incredible and complete puzzles. Like a too shrill sound, a poetry in abeyance in a far dream
