Jiqun Chen Biography:

1947 Born on June 27, in Shenyang, China.
1963 He was accepted by and attended for four yeas, the Middle
School of Fine Arts in Beijing. The Middle School is
affiliated with the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
1967 Movede to Inner Mongolia in 1967. Upon adapting to the living
environments there, he began producing sketches and
oil paintings shown here depicting Mongolian prairie life.
1974 Inner Mongolian Art Exhibition.
1980 Moved back to Beijing.
1984-1986 Beijing Art Exhibition.
1989 Fulltime professional artist.

1992 Study tour and visit to France.
1993 "Realism Trio",Conservatory of Fine Arts, Penang.
