Biography:

María Paula Caradonti was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on May 8th of 1979. Between 1992 and 2000 she attends several and diverse workshops and conducts her first collective exhibitions.
In 2001 she graduates from the National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredon as Professor of Painting, that same year she exhibited at the Borges Cultural Center.
Travels to Italy on 2002 and establishes residence in Rome. Exhibits at Testaccio Arte invited by the House of Culture of the Argentinean Embassy in Rome. Organizes several exhibitions between 2003 and 2005 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, among them “Open Studio”, “7 mujeres”, and “Ménage a Trois” along fellow artists Adrián Lirman and Claudio Roncoli.
In 2004 exhibits her works in the Dogma Gallery at the Maximiliano Guerra Foundation during the Week of Arts, and in Woman Space at the Sheraton Hotel in Buenos Aires. She’s selected to the National Painting Salon 2004 Avon Foundation at the Borges Cultural Center.
That year she also obtained the Visual Arts Bachelor Degree at the I.U.N.A.
In 2005 conducts a personal exhibition at the MultiArt Space in Buenos Aires. Then another exhibition at Casa Sana, and also does live painting in Painted Bodies at the Buenos Aires Municipal Exhibition Center.
In 2006 receives the Honorific Mention at the 2006 Painting Encouragement Prize of the Buenos Aires Provincial Bank. Also does an exhibition in Expotrastiendas with Florencia Salas as curator.
In October 2006 presents “Genero Femenino” at Jadite Gallery, New York, USA.
