descrizione: This drawing was included to show that I can draw a figure faithfully from what my eye observes. I was thoroughly trained by an academic life drawing master, and have always, thoughout my life, made careful studies of what I perceived in nature. It's funny that this drawing, a close-up of a reclining figure, is transformed into a digital picture of an original drawing laid out on an Indonesian ikat, as a recapitulation of the lying theme.
